Little Goldie
September 26, 2026Our beloved little dog Goldie just passed away. It was completely unexpected, and naturally, we are very sad.
We got her about fourteen years ago from a bar owner. She was a puppy who had become stressed by all the customers and the loud music at the bar. When I picked her up for the first time, I noticed that she immediately became calm, and it turned out that she was happy in our home from day one. I named her Goldie because the color of her coat reminded me a little of gold.
We already had Pandi, and they became like sisters. They were very different in personality, but it was clear that they looked out for each other. Pandi was outgoing and spontaneous, while Goldie was cautious and sometimes a little anxious. She would even crawl into bed with us when it rained. That was simply who she was, but she felt safe with us, and it was clear that she had a good life. All she needed to be happy was a steady routine and chicken.

Thank You for Everything
She spent the last six months with our cat Pio. They really grew fond of each other, but now she is gone. We buried her next to her best friend, Pandi.
As long as I live, I will remember your soft little bark when you wanted to come into the room, and how you always wagged your tail when I came down the stairs.
